If you are moving this summer you may want to take a peek at my previous blog post Moving, What Not to Bring. In that post I talked about the things that most moving companies do not allow in their moving trucks. Propane tanks are on the list. Blue Rhino propane tanks have teamed up with Lowes to offer a $20.00 mail in rebate for people who are moving. Simply take your old tank to any Blue Rhino tank exchange and then purchase a Blue Rhino tank from Lowe’s when you reach your new destination. Send back the attached mail-in rebate form and your receipt and wait for your rebate check to arrive.
You’ll be all set to start grilling at your new home.
Here’s to a safe move!

If you are planning to move this summer you may want to start looking at what you can and cannot bring. There are certain items that movers will not let you pack up in the moving trucks. A good rule of thumb is if the item is explosive (ammunition, etc.), hazardous (interior and exterior paints, etc.), or combustible (propane, etc.) the movers will not move it. Here’s a list of some of the most common items not to move as recommended by the American Moving and Storage Association:
• Bleach
• House paints
• Open containers of liquid
• Propane tanks or cans
• Gas or oils
• Butane
• Ammunition
• Open alcohol containers
• Open non sealed food containers
• Aerosols
• Fire Extinguishers
• Welding Gas
• Antifreeze
• Disinfectant cleaners (especially those that contain bleach or ammonia)
• Perishable foods
