Where to Recycle: Crayons

by Angela On October 30, 2012

If you have kids, you probably have boxes and boxes AND boxes and boxes of broken crayons and crayon nubs. So what do you do with crayons that are unused, unwanted, unloved or just flat out broken? Now you can recycle them instead of sending them to the landfill, saving the environment from tons of added petroleum! Crazy Crayons is a recycling education and community service program that takes unwanted crayons and recycles them in to fun new shapes. Crazy Crayons has collected over 85,000 pounds of crayons from schools, restaurants, and organizations throughout the United States.

So clear clutter and clear out those crayons with a clear conscience!
