Jewelry Organizing Part 1

by Angela On January 4, 2012

Jewelry is one of those things that many clients tell me they just don’t know what to do with.  So this month I am going to bring you lots of pictures for unique and fun jewelry storage.

In the picture above from Better Homes and Garden they show several beautiful and unique ideas for organizing jewelry in a playful yet gorgeous way!

The first thing you might notice is the framed screen that is holding earrings and necklaces.  This is a brilliant idea!  Simply take a picture frame and remove the glass.  Replace the glass with metal radiator screen from your local hardware store.  You can spray paint the screen if you would like.  Cut the screen to fit you frame, insert into frame, add the back and start hanging your jewelry!

The second fun idea is the use of the stands on the left.  You can use fruit stands, cake stands, or any stacking stand to get this look.  You can use this to store bracelets, earrings, pins, rings, or any other small pieces.  I love this because you can see everything and it still looks beautiful!

The third thing is the white paper towel holder (it’s between the jewelry stand and the flowers, it’s kind of hard to see).  This is a brilliant way to store bangle bracelets!  It keeps them all together beautifully and you can easily see them all.

Last but not least, you can also see how they used finger bowls or dishes to hold rings and earrings (towards the front of the picture).

So as you can tell, I LOVE this photo and all the fun and inspiring ways to organized jewelry!  I hope this inspires you to start working on your own jewelry.  If not…never fear, next Wednesday I will have more jewelry organizing pictures and ideas for you!

Have you organized your jewelry in a fun and exciting way?  Tell me all about it!  Leave me a comment below or send me a note on my contact page!  I’d love to hear from you!
