Dream Closet – Oprah

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the dreamiest closet of them all? Well, of course the Queen of Television Oprah Winfrey’s closet has to rank up at the top.
What do I love about this closet? Well, what’s not to love it’s gorgeous, but there are some great practical solutions that anyone can use.
First, my favorite thing is the ottoman in the closet! Call me crazy, but there have so many times when I had to sit on the floor to put on a pair of shoes. I love having a stool or ottoman in the closet.
Second, I love the glass front upper cabinets! This allows you to see what is in the cabinet but keeps everything free from dust. Love that! You can also use containers with clear fronts like the linen drop front boxes from The Container Store seen below.
Sweater shelves. I love these color coded sweaters and how they are so neatly stacked in each shelf! How lovely!
Light, I love how much light there is in this closet. Light is so important when you are trying to figure out if that is a navy dress or a black dress.
Counter space! Okay, now most of us don't have room for an island in our closets, but I love how the closet has an island where you can spread things out like accessories, the clothes you are going to wear the next day, the clothes you are taking on a trip. How fantastic would that be?!
