Where To Donate: Children’s DVDs
by Angela On April 5, 2011
If your children have outgrown their former favorite movies or you’re looking to thin out their collection, check out Kid Flicks, an organization that takes unwanted family DVDs (that appeal to toddlers through teenagers) and donates them in sets of 100 to children’s hospitals and pediatric wards all over the country.
As their website says, “Movies are the first things kids ask for when they are in the hospital.” Having films available makes staying in hospital or receiving lengthy treatments more bearable by helping pass the time and provide distraction. Visit the Kid Flicks website to find out how you can donate.
